What grades do you serve?
TBAS is a 5th – 8th grade school. Students must be 5th-8th grade ages or 10-15 on the first day of school. Our classrooms are run based on academic level, so ages are mixed.
What is our average class size?
Average class size is 4-6 students. TBAS has a total enrollment of no more than 25 students. Classes can be one-on-one or the entire school.
What is the tuition?
We do not send students who we think would benefit from being at TBAS away because of money. We ask families to apply to the Cleveland Scholarship Program program or EdChoice Scholarship Program. Full tuition for the 2022-23 school year is $7,000.
When are the school hours?
Doors open at 8:15am. School starts at 8:45am and ends at 4:00pm.
Do you have before/after care?
No. TBAS students often go to The City Life Center after school.
Where do TBAS students come from?
TBAS students come from schools, churches, organizations and families who know what we do. Most students live in Cleveland, but this is not a requirement to enroll.
Does TBAS have a dress code?
TBAS students do not wear uniforms. They come to school dressed to learn. TBAS students wear deodorant, brush their teeth, and shower regularly. We ask that students wear appropriate shoes for exercise.
We believe all students learn well when taught well.
