Prayer Team: TBAS hosts a monthly prayer meeting via Zoom. Join us to learn about what is going on at TBAS and receive monthly prayer requests. Please join the team even if you would rather not Zoom but do pray!
Tutoring: Academic tutors usually volunteer one morning a week for 2 or 3 hours. Activities are prepared in advance – you don’t need to prepare or deal with poor attitudes. Tutors will work with several students each morning. No prior experience is needed.
Lunch Volunteer: Lunch volunteers do simple prep work, serve students food, and clean up. Lunch volunteers are needed from 11:30am – 1:30pm every school day.
Fun Fridays: Every Friday we have special lunch days where we ask the TBAS community to provide lunch for the school. We are looking for individuals, families, Bible studies or other small groups to sign up.
Weekend Service Work: One Saturday morning a month, volunteers clean, repair, and improve the school. Anyone old enough and young enough to climb three flights of stairs is welcome.
Party Hosts: TBAS holds several party events for students. Hosts set up the event, may provide and serve food, answer the door, decorate, and clean up. This allows TBAS staff to fully engage their students and families.
Career Speakers: Contact Amy or Alane if you are interested in speaking to our students about your career or if you can arrange a small field trip to your place of business.
Board Members: TBAS is a nonprofit organization run by a school board. We are looking for interested volunteers to join the board to help with general oversight including oversight of short & long term goals.
